OpenDoors is more than my newest collection—it’s the beginning of a whole new chapter. After years in Colombia, where I reconnected with my roots, my family, and the soul of my culture, I returned to the U.S. ready to start over—this time with clarity, purpose, and a fire to share my art with the world.
These doors carry that energy: bold splatters, vibrant colors, and the joy of opening myself up to new possibilities. They mark my return, my transformation, and the launch of LISOart.
For now, the original paintings are not for sale. They’ll make their first public appearance at the LISO launch party, where this collection will officially open the door to my brand.
✨ Can’t wait until then? You can already bring a piece of OpenDoors into your life—prints from this collection are available now in my merch shop.
"Abstract1000" - Acrylic and Oil Base Paint on reclaimed cabinet door (27 1/2" × 10") This painting is all about energy in motion. The splatters and lines came out freely, almost like they were guiding me instead of the other way around. I don’t paint abstracts with a fixed idea—I let the colors and movement do the talking. What you see here is a snapshot of that moment, the flow of whatever I was feeling, captured on the surface. It’s meant to be open, for you to see what you see and feel what you feel.
"Bubbles" - Oil Base Paint on recycled canvas (8 1/4" x 10") - This painting is about light in motion. I set out to catch the quick color shifts you see on soap bubbles, using drips and splatters to build the rings and reflections. No fixed plan—just following the paint and letting the movement lead. I read them as bubbles; you might see something else, and that’s just as right.
"Aguacate" - Acrylic and Oil Base Paint on an MDF Board (15 7/8" x 11 3/8") - This painting is my take on an avocado, built with layers of color, drips, and splatters that landed where they were meant to be. I let the shapes form without forcing them, so the image feels alive instead of controlled. My intention was an avocado, but it doesn’t have to be yours
"Amanita" - Painted with acrylic and oil-based paint on an upcycled cabinet door (15 1/2" x 13") - This painting is my take on one of the many mushrooms that have shown up in my life. I was drawn to the strong contrast in the colors of the amanita and the texture it carries, and I let that guide the splatters and lines across the surface. It’s a bold form but also open
